Richard Powell

Richard Powell

Richard is a UI developer and designer with 8 years industry experience. He’s in charge of the product UI at Server Density, a complex Single Page Application built in Backbone & React.

Previously he’s worked on small brochureware sites, community video sites, mobile apps and project management software for oil and gas refineries. In his spare time he’s given workshops on Vanilla JavaScript, jQuery and Backbone. He’s also spoke at conferences around Europe on topics including data visualisation, defensive programming, JavaScript frameworks and designing on-barding experiences.

Richard is obsessed with the how and why of good code, good design and good product. Most importantly though Richard counts himself as very lucky to work in such an awesome industry.
