A Design System for Everyone

TusPark

We have two amazing speakers form the Government Digital Services team Talking about ‘A design system for everyone’ this is one not to be miss!

First up we have the awesome Amy Hupe a content designer on the GOV.UK Design System Team, who will introduce the design system and cover their efforts to maintain it as an open source project and to involve the community in its development and growth.

She’ll also touch on some of the things they do to ensure it works for their very broad-ranging audience of designers and developers with varying levels of experience and knowledge.

After the break, we’ll hear from Tim Paul Head of Interaction Design at GDS, who will focus on what they do to make the system and the things it contains as accessible as possible by default, including recent work they’ve done to make it WCAG 2.1 AA compliant.
