Thirteen years since its inception, Dojo 2 has been rewritten from the ground up as a rethink for how we build modern applications, leveraging the best features of ES6+, TypeScript, reactive programming, web components, and more. This talk focuses on what problems Dojo 2 solves and how it solves them, with a look at architecture, philosophy, and engaging stories from the co-founder of Dojo.

Regardless of your framework of choice, the talk should be interesting as it goes into detail about how and why we’ve implemented things in Dojo 2, some of the challenges along the way, etc. Be ready to ask your best questions, as Dylan will bring along a few copies of SitePen’s Milestone Mayhem card game as prizes for the most interesting questions.
