First up, Chris Kemper will be taking us through git, in his talk ‘Version control is a git’. As a web developer, knowing your way around at least one version control system is expected, and git is the industry standard. He’ll take us on a journey from WTF git is, right up to what you need to do when you make a mistake. For a beginner in the git and/or version control space, this talk will be for you, but may still teach a seasoned pro a trick or two as well.

Next, Damian Nicholson will be taking us through another tool that almost all web developers will have used at one point: Google Chrome. In his talk, ‘Chrome dev tools tips and tricks’, Damian will take us on a whirlwind tour of Chrome’s developer tools, demonstrating some tips and tricks that he’s picked up to help boost your productivity.
